Error with Standard Descriptive Flexfield Views after R12.2.5 Upgrade


After upgrading to R12.2.5, Flexfield View Generator concurrent program completed with error while trying to generate some of the standard Descriptive Flexfield (DFF)

Below is the error message -

Root Cause:

The required grant permissions do not exist on the table HR.PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F#.

Solution:

Do the following to grant the required permissions:

1. Connect as APPS :
  Create synonym CSP_REQUIREMENT_LINES# for CSP.CSP_REQUIREMENT_LINES#;

2. Connect as CSP :
  GRANT all on CSP_REQUIREMENT_LINES# to APPS with grant option; 

Then submit the 'Flexfield View Generator' program again...

In case there are other missing grants you can run ADADMIN and run the utility to 'Create grants and synonyms'
