Oracle Internet Expenses (OIE) Error


Error Description
     java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: peerExceptions list should only contain OAException elements

Environment
      Oracle E Business Suite R12.1.x
 
Steps to Reproduce
1. Go to Oracle iExpenses responsibility
2. Create an Expense Report
3. Hit 'Step-2' button. Error is thrown

Solution
1. Go to Human Resources, Vision Enterprises Responsibility
2. Go to Employee definition (for which you were trying to create a new expense report)
3. Go to Assignments -> Purchasing Order Information tab
4. Check the supervisor Section, If not, make sure that the supervisor field is populated
4. Assign a 'Ledger' and 'Default Expense Account'.
  • Ledger  : Vision Operations (USA)
  • Default Expense Account - 01-000-0000-0000-000
5. Go back and retest the issue
